The Backstory
The Maze TV show is a tv show/game that is highly interactive. The goal of the Fictive UX Design project is to design an immersive website that combines storytelling, the game mechanics from Dungeons and Dragons, as well as incorporating gameplay aspects to Twitch. The goal is to communicate more effectively on a desktop site that would help generate more users and interactions.
The Plan
Our clients asked us to merge a TV Show, with viewer interactivity, and Wikipedia into a site. The ask was to design a homepage, create an account, and a Wikipedia like page for storing information. A user should be able to log in, create a character, and populate an article onto the site.

Meet The Players

Blue Screen - The Problem
Sam needs a way to catch up on The Maze Twitch Show, learn about the lore, and create their avatar to dive into this new universe.
The Debug - Our Solution
We will build a website based on our research, and client input to create a website that would allow Sam and Hayden to explore the world of the maze
Plotting The Course
We ran a comparative, competitive, and feature analysis of the sites, Blaseball, gamepedia, wikipedia, and reddit. We also looked at the functionality of other twitch channels and relative websites to create the design layout for the Maze TV Show. The end result came down to our client's vision for the website and their design input.

Prepping The Simulation - Project Planning
I was in charge of keeping the project organized. So I made sure at all points to document and keep track of where we were at all phases.

Simulation Results
Our clients were pleased with what we presented for them. They are currently in talks with Facebook to make a game for the platform. We
are staying in touch for further iterations and or changes needed.
Onward To The Next Adventure
We gave our clients some final suggestions when we handed off our deliverables.
-
Hire Dev Team - The back end work will be storage heavy as well as account security will be a large concern.
-
Follow Up Research - The amount of time to gather research was rather short per their completion date requested. If possible we suggest further research and interviews.
-
Alpha Testing Website - Further usability testing will be required to assure that the users will have a great experience before launch.
